1. About Bahriq

Bahriq is an on-demand container delivery and haulage platform operating in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The service is operated by Jasr Alwadae Aldhahabi, registered under Commercial Registration 7050077119 with VAT registration 313005567200003. Bahriq is an initiative of Jasr Al VIDA.

By using this website or booking a delivery, you ("the Client") agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Service scope

Bahriq provides container haulage from Jeddah Islamic Port to delivery addresses across Saudi Arabia. Service includes:

3. Booking & pricing

Quoted prices are valid for 30 minutes. Prices include 15% VAT and base haulage from Jeddah Port to the destination address within standard service zones. Surcharges may apply for: oversized cargo, hazmat, after-hours delivery, multiple stops, restricted access, prolonged demurrage, and detention beyond 2 hours of free unloading time. Surcharges are quoted before they are incurred.

4. Customs release & dispatch

The Client must ensure customs has released the container before truck dispatch. If a truck is dispatched and the container is not released, the Client will be charged a SAR 500 wasted-trip fee. Dispatch happens only after the Client confirms release in writing.

7. Liability & insurance

Bahriq operates with cargo liability insurance to limits prescribed by Saudi commercial law. Liability is limited to the declared cargo value or insurance policy limit, whichever is lower. Cargo above SAR 100,000 must be declared at booking for adequate coverage.

Bahriq is not liable for: customs delays, port congestion, force majeure (weather, strikes, sanctions, government action), inaccurate Client information, or Client-caused improper packaging.

8. Loading & unloading

Loading at the Port is handled by Port operators. Unloading at the delivery address is the Client's responsibility. Standard free time is 2 hours; detention beyond is SAR 100 per hour.

9. Force majeure

Neither party is liable for delays from events beyond reasonable control: severe weather, natural disasters, strikes, government action, port closures, security incidents.

10. Governing law & dispute resolution

Governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Disputes resolved by good-faith negotiation, failing that, by the competent commercial court in Jeddah.

11. Changes to terms

Bahriq may update these Terms. The current version is always at this URL. Material changes will be communicated to active customers by email.


Privacy Policy

What we collect

To deliver containers and issue invoices, we collect: company name, CR, VAT, contact name, mobile, email, delivery address, container number, BL, customs status, cargo description, payment details (processed by our payment processor — we do not store card numbers), digital contract signatures.

Why we collect it

Who we share with

We share data only with: government platforms (Zawil, ZATCA, Fasah, Mawani) as required by law; our payment processor; the assigned driver (name, phone, address only). We do not sell or rent your data.

Retention

Booking and invoice records kept for at least 6 years per Saudi tax law. Marketing data kept until you opt out.

Cookies

We use minimal essential cookies for booking sessions and basic analytics. No advertising cookies, no third-party trackers.
